British cybersecurity firm leads international alliance to defend the NHS

News provided by The Telegraph – An international group of cybersecurity companies led by British venture capitalists has joined forces to defend the NHS and other health services from hackers seeking to exploit the pandemic.

The Cyber Alliance to Defend our Healthcare, set up by the London-based security investment firm C5 Capital, has made deals with at least 87 health institutions and four national health services in countries including the UK, Italy, Spain, Germany and and Sweden.

Its offers free protection services to hospitals and research labs battling a deluge of cyberattacks taking advantage of increased online activity and a sudden jump in governments’ prioritisation of healthcare.
